Select the Modules icon to set preferences for each module. There is one screen for each of the five modules. Access the module screens by clicking on the module name in the module tray.
To help make searching easier, pre-set the module's search parameter with the most commonly used search field. In the Default Search Field simply select the desired field in which to search by from the drop-down list. Close the Preferences Screen and the default selection will save. Open the desired module and note the Default Search Field now appears just below the Search field window. Users may exchange the default search parameter for any desired search field parameter directly in the module's Search field when needed.
Define the country that is home to your database. This option synchs with Contact Labels, and if an address incorporating the Home Country is entered on a Contact record, the country will NOT appear on the mailing label.
Click the radio button to select which statistic option will appear first when clicking on the Statistics Screen in Contacts: Work History, Work Movement, Payments Received, Outstanding Works, Payments Made, or Collection.
The Contact Phone Fields and User Fields are user-defined fields noting important information about the contact. There are 6 Phone Fields and 6 User Fields available on the Contacts Detail Screen. In Preferences, define the User Fields with a caption so that data is entered consistently.
NOTE: The first 6 Phone Fields appear in New Contact and New Transaction wizards. Use these fields for primary information and email addresses for easy on the fly data entry.
Verify the User Field which is captioned for E-mail. This option will facilitate sending e-mail from the Contacts Module. If you send to multiple e-mail addresses, enter all of them into the designated E-mail field separated by a semi-colon on the Contact record.
The Contact Label Locked option can be activated to disable adjustments in Contact>Details on a local machine or for the full database.
