Artsystems Merges with Gallery Systems
As of April 1, 2022, Artsystems, a worldwide leader in gallery, collection, and artist management software since 1989, has merged with Gallery Systems, the world’s leading provider of collection management software and web publishing solutions for museums, with over 800 museum and cultural collection clients, including New York’s MoMA, the Met, the Whitney, and the Guggenheim museums, the Tate in London, and the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. Gallery Systems was founded in 1981.
Along with Gallery Systems, Inc. Artsystems, Inc. is now part of the Volaris Group, an operating group of Constellation Software, Inc., based in Toronto, Ontario.
By joining forces with this industry leader, Artsystems will be able to extend its product leadership and speed the development of enhanced products and services for today’s dynamic, fast-paced, and increasingly online art world.
