Users can either enter the value for Discount Percent or Discount amount when applying discounts to any Transaction record. In Artsystems Pro it is possible to apply one discount value to the entire Transaction, or apply separate discounts values to each Work record on the Transaction record.
To apply the same discount amount to all Work records in a transaction, enter either the Discount Percent or Discount value on the Sum of Artwork line on the Transaction record.
To apply different discounts to specific artworks on the Transaction record, click the Work Terms / Discount box. When the Work Terms / Discounts field is checked, users can edit the Percentage Discount or the Discount value for each line item in the Works Grid of the Transaction record.
